Renegade Roulette – Coming Soon!

Sooo… as is very typical for me and my writing, I am going a little overboard.

I’m not like most writers who have ideas then struggle to get them written. Nope. Not this girl.

My problem is that I have to many ideas, and I love typing so much I can’t get published fast enough, or get covers created fast enough, or various other things that go into getting a book done outside of the actual storytelling.

For example, Renegade Refuge, when I first put it together, included the first half of book two as well. But after a few weeks of fine tuning and getting it sounding the way I wanted, I realized I’d created a dictionary-sized story. It had to be trimmed.

This is an issue I always have. I just can’t stop typing.

And I’ve done it again with Renegade Roulette.

When I started this story, it was a two-chapter deleted scene from Renegade Refuge. I liked the characters, but they didn’t have a place in Renegade Refuge, so I gave them their own space.

Then, I needed to make it all into a story – you know, beginning, middle, end; all that jazz – so I decided to pull a guest appearance of one of my future characters into play (because yes, I have an outline done of books in this world that are at least twelve books away from now).

And in the process of writing about Jo and Rhett and the Sunshine Rustler, I had a blast. So much of a blast, in fact, that the story went from 10,000 words to 30,000 words.

And I’m not done yet.

So congrats, my friends! The deleted scene I was planning on giving you y’all for signing up for my newsletter is now its own book! All for free!

Hopefully, you enjoy it as much as I have while writing it!
