Book Four is Almost Here!

It’s written, it’s edited, and it’s almost ready for release. So close, in fact, that I can reveal a release date to you:

July 4th, 2023

Yes, Friends! Next week!

I know most authors list their dates way ahead of time, then organize their schedule to be done for the drop, spending weeks pumping up the audience for release day, but… well… saying, “I am not most authors,” makes it sound a lot more mysterious than the truth, which is; I hate schedules and I have no patience.

I can’t plan a date, because every time I do, my stress levels get unmanageable trying to meet my own deadlines. And I can’t just wait until I’m finished to come up with a release date, because once it’s done, I’m desperate to share it. I can’t keep it to myself.

And this is how we get release dates six days out.

But this is good for you, ’cause that means you don’t get emails hyping you up for weeks ahead of time, because I don’t know about you, but when I’m anticipating a book from a favorite author, it feels like I’m being tortured, and much like Jo, I’m not into that.

So, now that the book is basically ready, I can come up with a date, and since I’m obviously not concerned with sticking to the traditional guidelines, I just picked a date that meant something to me. Thus; July 4th.

I do feel like I should give you a bit of a warning, though…

If you:

1) Can’t take any more sexual tension between Beckett and Jo,

2) Don’t want to see them tease each other anymore,

3) Are really ‘shipping Jo and Sonny Boy,

4) Wish you could just forget about the her chasing Jo down,

5) Find brainwashing to be boring,

6) Imagining Jo undercover isn’t interesting to you,

You’re going to be severely disappointed in book four. It’ll be awful. Like, truly miserable. You won’t have fun.

If, however, all that stuff sounds gravy and you can handle some angst, some spice, and Jo playing nice; that’s what this little book is made of.
